Are you a hard-core RINGANA DRINKS fan? In that case you’ll notice a small change in the packaging soon. Naturally, we’re keeping our revolutionary moulded pulp for the packaging, but we’ve joined forces with our Austrian packaging specialist to give it a makeover.
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be segueing smoothly to the new, somewhat lighter-coloured version of the cardboard. As with its predecessor, it’s made of 100% recycled material. Apart from that, the new cardboard is now stronger, so it’s even better at protecting our products from breakage. Moulded pulp can be 100% reused, it’s 100% recyclable, and it’s 100% biodegradable.
Moulded pulp – what is that?
RINGANA Drinks’ packaging is special: the recycled moulded pulp carton comes from our waste cardboard and contains no paints, glues or printing ink. This sustainable loop conserves resources and the innovative packaging protects the products better against breakage than conventional cardboard. The cartons are fastened with elastic bands made from natural rubber. The carton can be put to lots of different uses – for instance for germinating seedlings.
